Maria Sharapova, world number 3 on tennis, has been ousted in the second round at Wimbledon by 154th-ranked Alla Kudryavtseva. Kudryavtseva recovered an early break in the second set to beat the 2004 champion 6-2, 6-4 on Court 1 on Thursday.

Rocker David Cook won the coveted title of “American Idol” on Wednesday, dealing an unexpected but decisive defeat to a silken-voiced teenager, also named David, on the most popular U.S. television show.
Cook, 25, who was tending bar and playing in a band before he auditioned for the singing competition, stood back to applaud rival David Archuleta, 17, and then bent over crying after host Ryan Seacrest said he had won by 12 million votes.
“This is amazing. Thank you,” said the Blue Springs, Missouri, native, who in addition to being crowned this year’s “Idol” will receive a recording contract.

FOX just released their 2008 Lineup. Looks like Prison Break will be airing an hour later then last season.
MONDAY
8:00-9:00 PM Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
9:00-10:00 PM Prison Break

> Prison Break Season 4 will have a two-hour premiere on August 25th.
It will then shift to 9:00 p.m. when “Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles” returns.

David Archuleta looks like the ideal winner — a young boy with a big voice, who has a video clip that shows how he sang for Season 1 winner Kelly Clarkson, and who sang “America,” a performance that practically shouts, “Vote for ME, America!” But then there’s David Cook — a pure rocker who once in a while shows his mellow side (but still rocks it), a fantastic performer, and for whom Randy Jackson gave his first standing ovation of the season.
David Cook already has a chart-topping single under his belt (his rendition of “Always Be My Baby” sends shivers up my spine) and a fanbase that includes both women and men (a very crucial demographic), but David Archuleta has the “lip biting pa-humble” effect that appeals to tweens, teens, even to mothers and grandmothers.

Online Resources reports that Sarah Wayne Callies is returning to Prison Break: As a regular character for season four, Dr. Sara Tancredi is back on Prison Break.. It is clear to us that the cut head being sent to Lincoln was not the head of sarah. . I think season 4 is all about "REVENGE" :)
